We hope you all have a lovely break and plenty of rest. Make sure you get outside as much as possible and enjoy the fresh air.
Do a little bit of reading and practice a few tables every day - of course do more if you want to – but don’t forget this is a time for rest, so that you come back to school ready to put all your energy into the Summer Term. There are a lot of things happening next term as you can see from the Calendar. It promises to be a fun and exciting term full of lots of activity.
Have a good holiday and come back rested and refreshed on Monday 23rd April!

Last week and this week there has been a group in the kitchen as part of Upper School enrichment learning how to cook shortbread. The delicious smell of warm shortbread has watfted through the school making us all feel hungry. Mrs Radulovic has kindly agreed to put her recipe on the blog.
3-2-1 Shortbread
90g (3 oz) SR flour
60g (2 oz) Margarine
30g (1 oz) Sugar
Measure out and melt the margarine in a bowl. Weigh out the flour and sugar. Add to the margarine and mix well. Press into a tin and put in the oven for about 20 minutes at Gas Mark 3.
Let it cool at least a little before eating!!!!

Well done Kindergarten and Reception. We all loved seeing your costumes today. What lovely book characters you chose. Thank you also to all of you who brought in books to swap. Most of you seemed to find a new book to pick up. Year 5′s stories are almost ready for Kinderkarten and Year 6 are putting the finishing touches to their short stories for Year 2.
Mr Cann
