Great excitement yesterday as Father Christmas took time out of his very busy schedule to come and visit us.  He must have parked his sleigh round the corner because there was no sign of it outside the school although we looked and looked.  He found a comfy chair near the Christmas tree in the hall and every child got a present.  Thank you Father Christmas for taking the time to come to visit us!

We look forward to our Diwali party tomorrow when we will be lighting our Diva’s.

Well done Kindergarten and Reception for a wonderful assembly this morning. You all looked so lovely in your dress and you made beautiful diya lamps. I hope you all enjoyed it . I look forward to your Diwali party next Friday just before half term.

We were so lucky to have good weather for the Lower School visit to this local environmental centre. Many of the children went to see the wind turbine and collected specimens to bring back to school for Art projects. The children from year 2 looked closely at different trees and each child photographed one species for a display.
After a huge picnic, it was lovely to see the older children helping the smaller ones on the play area.

Today, Reception children  chopped vegetables and made a delicious soup. All the children enjoyed tasting it and have taken some home to share with their parents. Comments for the children would be most welcome.
