What a lovely day we had for our charity skip! The sun was shining, the children were in shirt sleeves (and so were the staff!) as we began our money raising effort.
As each child came up to skip for 1 minute there was some enthusiastic counting by the rest of the pupils and some real encouragement for those who found it a bit more difficult! Everybody’s score of skips in a minute was logged ready for them to take home a certificate and collect their money!
Please try to return as much of the promised money as possible by Friday so that it can be sent to the NSPCC as soon as possible.
Congratulations to all the children for taking part so well and being so supportive of each other. Well done all of you!

Well done Year 5 and 6 for all the great games you thought up for the younger pupils to play. You managed to raise £80. The School Council will decide with Mrs Radulovic what we will spend it on.

Thank you to everyone who made cakes and brought them into school on Friday. What a set of bakers you are!
Thank you to the School Council who helped behind the stall selling during breaktime and at the end of the day.
Thank you to everyone who brought money in to buy the cakes – you have given Mrs Stocks a long job, counting all the money . . . . . . watch this space for our final total . . . .!

CAKES CAKES CAKES
Thank you to all the children who baked, brought in and bought cakes today for our cake sale. The School Council worked hard selling cakes after school, so thank you to them too. Despite their efforts there are still quite a few cakes left so they will be on sale on Monday during break time.
Children can bring money in to buy these if they wish.
Mrs Radulovic
